Abstract
The D6.5 - EO4EU Business Roadmap, Innovation and IPR Management Strategy & Sustainability pathway (a) provides the first detailed description of the methodology and process to carry out innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) management. This is part of a series of two deliverables with the final iteration delivered on M33 of the project.
The EO4EU platform is described in full with expected features and tools as well as the demonstrators through its use cases (see 2 The EO4EU Platform).
The project’s approach to innovation and IPR management is also described. With the work in identifying and detailing results expected to be ongoing, the results mapped to date have been captured in a living document (see 3 Innovation and IPR Management Strategy). Nonetheless, these Key Exploitable Results (KER) have been categorised and these categories are expected to be largely stable throughout the lifetime of the project and thus have been used as a reference to ensure that the dissemination campaigns are tied to at least 1 KER category and ensure that appropriate dissemination actions are carried out for each result (see 4 Dissemination).
Finally, the document also details the preliminary sustainability plan and roadmap. However, as the project needs to achieve further maturity, particularly offerings to stakeholders on a practical level, some potential and most feasible business cases and model scenarios have been reported (see 5 EO4EU Platform Sustainability Plan and Business Roadmap).
The final sustainability plan and business roadmap will be elaborated in D6.6 EO4EU Business Roadmap, Innovation and IPR Management Strategy & Sustainability pathway (b-final) in M33.
