Abstract
EO4EU aims to provide innovative tools, methodologies and approaches that would assist a wide spectrum of users, from domain experts and professionals to simple citizens to benefit from EO data.
This report describes the standardization actions and the interoperability/ harmonization actions of the project.
Specifically, EO4EU has investigated various standardization bodies to contribute to, after consulting with the HSBooster expert. After careful deliberation, the project has opted to contribute to informal standards, such as OpenEO and OGC.
The project contributed the EO4EU extended API to OpenEO (already in OpenEO hub). This effort aims to streamline the accessibility, processing, and interoperability of EO data across multiple platforms, ensuring a structured and standardised approach to EO data management.
The project plans to submit the DSL languate used internally in the project to OGC. Its main goal is to provide support to the user/developer with a high-level orchestration language for deploying applications and designing workflows
