This webinar will provide an update on where EO4EU stands now in its implementation and, for the first time, will present in detail the functionalities that can be expected from the EO4EU Platform to ensure more accessibility for EO data. The webinar will also explore how EO4EU can contribute to wider initiatives such as EuroGEO and Destination Earth.  

On 5 October 2023, from 16:00 - 17:30 CET, Stathes Hadjiefthymiades from National and Kapodistrian University of AthensAthens, project partner of EO4EU, hosted a workshop on "Machine Learning tools and systems support for EO data processing and applications".

EO4EU was presented, with a dedicated session and a poster, at the EuroGEO Workshop 2023 held from 2-4 October in Bolzano, Italy.

The Destination Earth initiative is focusing on co-development with its users to ensure a greater responsiveness to the needs of decisions makers at many different geographic levels and in diverse sectors.

The four-day trade show 112 RESCUE was held for the first time between 14 and 17 June 2023.

EO4EU will join the EGU General Assembly between 23-28 April in Vienna (Austria) to present the status of the project and the opportunities for EO data exploitation.
