The EOSC Symposium is the annual gathering for the community of the European Open Science Cloud. EO4EU presented the EO4EU Platform as a future service that would be of great value to the European research community, especially for those that do not have experience or knowledge in using Earth observation tools and data but would like to use them.

Serverless FaaS capabilities: EO4EU provides serverless FaaS capabilities, which allow users to run code in response to events without managing the complex infrastructure typically associated with building and launching microservices applications.
Fusion engine: This engine enables context awareness by combining data readings from different sources selected by the user and provided via the KG, and feeding them to different algorithmic pipelines in order to refine the data or create new products.
A Knowledge Graph (KG) that stores and manages information about EO data, including its sources, characteristics, and relationships. The KG is used to power a number of features, including a smart search engine, a decision-making tool, and a machine learning pipeline for semantic annotation.
Machine learning (ML) workflows and their components: EO4EU provides a set of pre-trained ML models and algorithms that can be used to process and analyze EO data, as well as tools for creating custom ML workflows.
Extended reality (XR) interface: EO4EU provides an XR interface that enables users to visualise and explore EO data in a more immersive way.
