Abstract
The Cineca HPC Annual Report provides data and insights into CINECA's contributions and impact in High Performance Computing within the scientific community. It also aims to communicate the organisation's vision and future development plans to all its stakeholders.
This report presents a comprehensive overview of CINECA's activities and the research outcomes achieved through access to its supercomputing infrastructure at both national and European levels. Additionally, it includes an evaluation of CINECA's intangible assets, which, beyond the standard performance metrics, represent the goodwill associated with CINECA's mission.
EO4EU in the CINECA HPC Annual Report
The EO4EU project presentation is included in this publication on pages 46-47, highlighting CINECA's role as a partner in the development of two distinct cloud systems, one of which is the CINECA ADA cloud. Furthermore, CINECA is also responsible for creating the Observability platform, which enables the monitoring of every component and node across the entire EO4EU platform, as well as the XR component that facilitates data visualisation in a virtual environment.
